In the cool of the heights of Sainte-Marie, over 1100 metres above sea level in the “Plaine des Fougères” locality, Piton Fougères B&B has the “Auberge de Campagne” label and provides its guests with relaxation and a real change of scenery in a warmly welcoming family atmosphere in the midst of unspoiled forestland. The owners are attentive to their guests’ every need and have 5 rooms available, each accommodating 2 people and with separate entrance. Breakfast included. Leisure activities on site: games room with table-tennis table and baby-football, and visits to the Creole farm. The property is located near La Réunion National Park and the hiking trail leading to Piton Fougères, with a small loop with views of Saint-Denis and a wider loop with views of the Cirque of Salazie, known as the “Petit-Maïdo”, in the heart of one of the island’s most beautiful tamarind forests. The inn is about 13 km from the expressway and 20 minutes’ drive from Roland Garros Airport. Meals available on site, with dishes prepared over a wood fire.
