Atelier de Ben (L')

L’Atelier de Ben is located near the former Saint-Denis Town Hall and serves fusion cuisine – gastronomic classics revisited, with spices, condiments and cooking methods from throughout the world. Ben is a member of the Toques Blanches and creates dishes using a choice selection of produce from French terroirs and providing a wide variety of flavours. Chalkboard specials at lunchtime and in the evenings, and lunchtime set menu of the day from €18/person, comprising starter and main course or main course and dessert. Ben also gives cooking lessons, which are an integral part of the “Atelier de Ben” concept. Apprentice chefs learn how to cook “just like in the restaurant”. Lessons are open to all, even total beginners, and take place in a relaxed atmosphere, with participants working in pairs. On the programme: learning how to create a main course and a dessert, along with tricks of the trade, followed by a convivial get-together around the table to try out the results. The restaurant’s dining room is available for group dinners. Contact Ben for creation of customised menus. Open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner.
