Le Beau Pays on hikes

Here are five walking routes to discover in the Beau Pays. You will surely find the outing that corresponds to your desires (ponds or dense forest?), your time constraints (2 hours, 4 hours, a day?) and your physical condition (high-level athlete, sedentary retiree or 6 year old brat?).

To begin, here are some rules of caution in the mountains:

The mountain is accessible to everyone as long as you respect a few common-sense rules: It is advisable to never go hiking alone and to be well equipped (walking shoes, flashlight, warm, waterproof clothing). Take enough food and water with you and, above all, don't stray far from marked trails. Before the hike, make sure you are aware of the weather conditions. During the hike: hydrate regularly and walk at your own pace! For big races, letting friends and family know your route and your arrival time is an addedsafety measure.
